"Return to the Planet Gong", 2007, 160 x 190 cm, Acrylic on canvas

Daevid Allen, the genius, musician and poet. Creator of the Planet Gong. From Soft Machine to Acid Mothers Gong, over 40 years of artistic creation, beauty, humour and philosophy. This painting is my homage to the psychedelic music legend.

Amazingly, although he has a dedicated base of fans that have followed his journey through the decades, he has never received the acclaim from the masses that he so rightly deserves.

"Vighnakartá - Vignahartá", 2007, 220 x 161cm, Acrylic on canvas

Ganesh is one of the most popular Hindu Divinities. He is usually the first icon to be placed in a home or workplace. Devotees believe that by praying to him, Ganesh will come to their aid and grant them success.

He is the Lord of obstacles (Vighnesha) being both Vighnakartá (obstacle creator) and Vighnahartá (obstacle remover). Son of Shiva and Parvati, Ganesh has associations with consorts, Sarasvati (Godess of Culture and Arts) and Lakshmi (Godess of Luck and Prosperity).
